The objectives of our workshops are to increase awareness of the health topic and initiate public support from groups of stakeholders including medical societies, patient groups, payers, government entities, and other relevant key opinion leaders. Topics of these workshops may include the burden of the disease, prevention & control strategies, access to treatment, or public policy requirements. The outcome is a comprehensive white paper which incorporates participant comments, critiques, and recommendations for optimal diagnosis and treatment tools and barriers to access.
