She holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (1995), a PhD in Science, nephrology, from the University of São Paulo (2005), a postdoctoral degree in nephrology and sleep at the University of Toronto, Canada (2009 to 2011) and full professorship from the University of Sao Paulo (2018). She is currently an assistant physician in the discipline of nephrology at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of USP and a professor at the postgraduate program at Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE). She has experience in Nephrology, working mainly in dialysis, sleep disorders and nephrogeriatrics.
