He holds a degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (2001), a Ph.D. in Pathology from the University of São Paulo (2009), and a specialization in Molecular Pathology and Cytopathology from the University of Toronto. He is a specialist in Cytopathology certified by the International Academy of Cytology, the Brazilian Society of Cytopathology/AMB, and the Latin American Society of Cytopathology. He is the President of the Brazilian Society of Cytopathology, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo, and Coordinator of the Cytopathology and Digital Pathology service at Grupo Fleury. He also serves as an Associate Editor of the Cytopathology Journal and Scientific Director of the Latin American Society of Cytopathology. He has experience in the field of Pathological Anatomy, focusing on Cytopathology and Digital Pathology.
