Pathologist at OCPM (Oncoclínicas Precision Medicine), the Precision Medicine unit of the Oncoclínicas Group. He received training as a Pathologist at the National Cancer Institute in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2002-2005) and completed further education at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia (2005-2011). From 2005 to 2007, Dr. da Silva worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in Molecular and Breast Pathology at the Breast Pathology Laboratory under the supervision of Professor Sunil R. Lakhani at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. From 2008 to 2011, Dr. da Silva served as a Senior Lecturer in the discipline of Molecular and Cellular Pathology and Registrar in Anatomical Pathology at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. He holds a Ph.D. in the field of Pathology.
