Graduated in Medicine from Universidade Federal da Bahia, she is currently a hematologist at Hospital Nossa Senhora das Graças and Hospital de Clínicas da Universidade Federal do Paraná, in the city of Curitiba, Paraná. She is the preceptor of the Hematology and Hemotherapy Residency of the Hospital de Clínicas da UFPR and responsible for the High-Risk Chemotherapy Unit. She specializes in Hematology and Hemotherapy, with an emphasis on Hematopoietic Stem-Cell Transplantation, mainly working on the following topics: Malignant Hemopathies, Post-TCTH Complications and "Doença do Enxerto-Contra-Hospedeiro". She also works as a researcher in the area of acute leukemia treatment.
