Dr. Darío Londoño Trujillo is a doctor graduated from the Universidad del Bosque, specialist in internal medicine and pulmonology; He also has a Master's degree in Health Economics from McMaster University, in Canada, where he also received training in clinical epidemiology.

Much of his life has been dedicated to research and his contributions have been recognized by the National Academy of Medicine and by various Scientific Societies. His research has been focused especially on venous thromboembolic disease and pulmonary hypertension, but also on the evaluation of health technologies (drugs, devices, treatments, among others).
