PAHO Malaria Advisor on Malaria chemotherapy, drug resistance, and epidemiology. Five years as Advisor on the Malaria Sporozoite Vaccine Development Program at the Navy Research Center, Bethesda, Maryland.

Fifteen years of experience at the National Institute of Health and Ministry of Health, Colombia, as a Director of Malaria Branch, Tropical Diseases and Epidemiology.
