THE 2nd CONGRESS ON RARE DISEASES FOR LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN: Strengthening our Commitment to Rare Diseases in Latin America

Rare diseases have been a key priority for AHF. Demonstrating our commitment to improving the landscape of rare diseases in Latin America, we conducted the First Congress on Rare Diseases for Latin America and the Caribbean in 2023. This year, on October 16-17 in Bogotá, Colombia, we will hold the Second Congress on Rare Diseases for Latin America and the Caribbean. This event, led by AHF and co-hosted by ERCAL, FECOER, and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, aims to build upon the inaugural event by taking a solution-focused approach to bridging gaps in rare disease care in Latin America.

Diego Gil, President of ERCAL and FECOER, invites you to join us at this event:

“For two days we will meet to share the latest advances in research, diagnosis, treatment and access to rare diseases. Join us in Bogotá and be part of the change we are building to improve the outlook for those living with rare diseases in our region!”

– Diego Gil Cardoso, President of ERCAL and FECOER
