First secretary of SBIm and president of the Society from 2011 to 2014, specializing in pediatrics and neonatology at the State Public Servant Hospital and pediatric infectology at the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics (SBP). He is a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the National Immunization Program (PNI) of the Ministry of Health, chairman of the Department of Immunization of SBP, member of the Directorate of Courses and Events of the São Paulo Pediatric Society (SPSP), member of the European Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID) and member of the Latin American Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (SLIPE). Dedicated to immunizations and infectious diseases for over 25 years, he is also medical director of the Santa Joana Immunization Center and ProMatre Paulista, where he has held the position since 1997, when the institution was founded. He is co-author of the book Collection Febrasgo - Vaccination of Women (Elsevier, 2015), collaborated with several other publications and has given numerous lectures and conferences at national and international events.
