Dr. Martín Casapía is a specialist in Infectious and Tropical Diseases with extensive experience in public health, clinical research, and tropical medicine. He holds a Master's in Public Health from the University of Washington. He is the chief of the Infectious Disease and Tropical Medicine course at the Medical School of the Amazon University in Iquitos, Peru.

He is a member of Peru's National Committee of Dengue Experts, contributing to disease surveillance, clinical management, and vector control.
