Dr. Tomás Agustín Orduna is an infectious disease specialist with over 40 years of experience at the F. J. Muñiz Infectious Diseases Hospital, where he led the Travel and Tropical Medicine Section and the Municipal Center for Regional Pathologies. He was a founding member and former president of the Latin American Society of Travel Medicine (SLAMVI).

He has taught at UBA, Universidad del Salvador, Universidad Favaloro, and Universidad Austral. He has authored numerous scientific publications, books, and national health guidelines.
