Graduated in Medicine from UERJ with a specialization in Public Health from IESC-UFRJ. Holds a Master's degree in Epidemiology and a Doctoral degree in Public Health, both from IMS-UERJ. Completed training in Evidence-Based Clinical Practice at McMaster University/PROCEP. Awarded the Szklo Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University Graduate Summer Institute of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2021. Currently works at the National Cancer Institute (INCA), with 19 years of experience in formulating and evaluating National Cancer Early Detection Programs.
