Specialist in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Hemotherapy from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), São Paulo, Brazil, he also underwent training in Bone Marrow Transplantation from 1993 to 1996. Member of the clinical staff of the Coordination of Medical Emergencies of the Medical Department of the Chamber of Deputies since 1997. Effective member of the Brazilian Association of Hematology, Hemotherapy and Cellular Therapy and an international member of the American Society of Hematology since 1998. Coordinator of the Hematology Transplant Service Bone Marrow from the Cettro Cancer Center of Brasília since 1999. Scientific Consultant at the International Myeloma Foundation, South America since 2004. PhD in Genomic Sciences and Biotechnology from the Catholic University of Brasília in 2013. Executive Director of the Fundação Hemocentro de Brasília in June from 2016 to January 2019. Deputy Director of Communication of the Brazilian Association of Hematology, Hemotherapy and Cellular Therapy.
