Anny Bedard
Anny is a global biopharmaceutical enterprise builder who thrives on mission diversity and challenges.
She is the president and founder of ABio Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm focused on accelerating biopharma companies’ growth by providing strategic expertise in orphan and specialty drug commercialization, international business expansion and building high performing strategic partnerships.
With over 25 years of biopharmaceutical commercial expertise in multiple markets, Anny is a recognized leader in global commercialization expansion strategies and operations for innovative therapies to treat rare and orphan diseases.
Prior to ABio Consulting, Anny was VP, Head of International Business at Sarepta Therapeutics were she led the market entry strategy and management of the company’s RNA and Gene Therapy portfolio across Japan/Asia and Latin America.
She is also recognized for leading the expansion and growth of Shire’s (now Takeda) rare disease business across Asia and Latin America expanding the company’s international foothold.
In addition to her strong general management and business expansion experience, Anny also held various leadership roles ranging from alliance management, country management, marketing, training and sales at Shire, Serono and Fournier Pharma.
Anny holds a Masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Laval University in Quebec, Canada.
